JOB SUMMARY:

Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments (Cash Receipt) in compliance with financial policies and procedures; include Lockbox, Wires, and Credit Cards
• Work collaboratively with accounts payable on vendor updates
• Preparing manual invoices and pro-forma invoices
• Work on special project as needed for Account Receivable
Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Effective communication skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma required; Accounting certificate preferred
2-4 years related experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
